KYOCERA SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS is
currently the volume leader in the production of photovoltaic panels. They lead
the industry with their twenty-five year limited warranty. They have
perfected the 15 cm x 15 cm multi-crystalline solar cell, with cell conversion
efficiencies of over fourteen percent and module efficiencies in the twelve
percent range. The KC Series modules
are made up of squares of poly-crystalline cells, which cover nearly one-hundred
percent of the module surface. These cells are encapsulated between a
tempered glass cover and EVA pottant with PVF and PET back sheets to protect the
module from the severest environmental conditions. The entire laminate is
installed in an anodized aluminum frame to provide structural strength and ease
of installation. The 120, 80 and 60 Watt panels are supplied with diodes
to prevent power loss from shading and comes with the new twenty-five year
warranty.
